Chinese External Medicine is a branch of TCM concerned with diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the body’s surface. External medicine, or wai ke, refers to conditions that can be seen by the naked eye or palpated directly such as traumatic injuries, skin diseases, breast lumps, hemorrhoids, male genital problems, and so on.
In this book, a number of bone and joint-related problems typically associated with traumatology are also included.
