In this course, we will discuss selected formulas related to commonly seen respiratory disorders in clinic, drawing from the rich experience of master clinicians Dr. Hu Xi shu, Dr. Suzanne robidoux and Dr. Zhang Li shan (head of respiratory department in Dong Zhi Men Chinese Medicine Hospital and disciple of Dr. Feng Shi lun), discussing their six syndrome differentiation and patterns, comparing classical clauses from the Shang Han Za Bing Lun and relevant case studies.

 

Course Objectives:

 

– Review previously discussed formula patterns in respect to their applications for treating respiratory disorders.

 
– Introduce new formulas and formula patterns used in modern day clinic with great efficacy, analyzed through the Six Syndrome perspective.
 

Course Design:

 

Each day will be 4 hours broadcasted live for a total of 12 hours, with interaction through chatrooms and microphones. There will be a handout for every weekend with a worksheet of 10 questions at the end of the weekend to obtain your credits. Participants will have one week to complete the worksheet and send it by email. We will also take online registrations. If a participant is unable to attend one of the weekends, an audio recording will be sent, 1 weekend per participant. However, the recordings of the weekends will not be available otherwise.

 

 

Broadcasting Times:

China: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM in China.

London: same day from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Eastern time (Montreal/New York/North Carolina): same day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Western time (California/Vancouver): same day from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Brisbane and Sydney, Australia: same day from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM
