In this course, we will discuss various gynecological disorders such as uterine cysts, PCOS, PID and endometriosis their treatment with the combination of acupuncture, moxa and chinese herbal formula according to the Six Syndrome diagnostic system and clinical treatment with cases of Dr. Robidoux as well as Dr. Hu Xi shu.

This course will maintain a link with the classical teachings of Zhang Zhong jing by adding original clauses with their meaning with clinical cases and treatment. By understanding the original clauses of Zhang Zhong jing we also have an understanding of the pathomechanism of the six syndromes along with the various nuances of promoting health with classical formulas.

Course Objectives:

– Learn the clinically proven classical acupuncture point combinations in combination with Zhang Zhong jing formula patterns for treating gynecological disorders including PCOS, endometriosis, PID, and secondary infertility.

– Develop a deeper understanding of the Six Syndrome System and its pathomechanisms.

– Learn how differentiate commonly seen gynecological disorders in clinic and their pathogenesis.

Course Design:

Each day will be 4 hours broadcasted live (12 hours altogether), with interaction through chat rooms. There will be a handout for this weekend with a worksheet of 10 questions at the end of the weekend to obtain your credits. Participants will have one week to complete the worksheet and send it by email. We will also take online registrations. If a participant is unable to attend one day, an audio recording will be sent, 1 day per participant. However, the recordings of the weekends will not be available otherwise.
