Peter Firebrace is an acupuncturist, experienced teacher, singer, poet and producer of Chinese medicine themed albums. He began his acupuncture studies in 1980 at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) in England, then did further studies with the European School of Acupuncture in Paris and the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, China. He has also studied Chinese language and philosophy with the Ricci Institute in Paris. He is a co-founder of Monkey Press, the Chinese medical classics publishing house. He is the author of “Clouds Falls Rap” (a poetry book examining the concept of health through Chinese medicine and Daoism) and the co-author of “A Guide to Acupuncture” and “Acupuncture: How It Works, How It Cures”.
