Dr. Tao Kun (陶昆) is one of a famous Chinese medical clinician and international speaker of Nanjing. Dr. Tao grew up in a family of Chinese medicine where his father was a famous clinician. Following the footsteps fo his father Dr. Tao Kun not only became famous for his excellent clinical results but also for his great personality, patience and love of teaching. Dr. Tao is well-known for inventing and using in clinic various types of moxibustion techniques. Some he invented with his father and some he developed through his 50 years of clinical practice. Dr. Tao is also famous across China to be able to treat diseases complicated cases that other clinicians have failed. Even after his well deserved retirement Dr. Tao still treats over 60 patients a day with acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, ear acupuncture, plu blossom technique, moxibustion massage and other moxibustion techniques. He presently sits as the director of the Nanjing Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and was awarded the title of “Nanjing Municipal Renowned TCM Doctor” in 1988. Dr. Tao is passionate about teaching and sharing his life long knowledge.
