This foundation and clinical program is composed of 8 * 3-day weekends (12 hours per weekend for a total of 100 hours, as the first weekend is of 4 days). During this program, you will become proficient in understanding the diagnostic system and clinical applications of the six syndromes by familiarising yourself with over 120 classical herbal formulas of Zhang Zhong jing as well as learning the Shen Nong description and application of over 200 single herbs. You will learn the clinical presentation, six syndrome categorization, and application of these classical formulas. We will analyze and understand Dr. Hu Xi shu's clinical cases and treatment protocols. We will also leave ample time to discuss live cases with diagnosis, formula pattern, and herbal dosage modifications to fit the patient's condition. On the 7th weekend, we will also discuss the classical pulse understanding of Zhang Zhong jing which completes this system. Additionally, on the 8th weekend, we will discuss convenient administration methods such as tinctures, pills, powders, medical baths, and medical plasters. By the end of the 8 weekends, you will gain sufficient experience and comprehension of the Jing Fang system to start applying it with your own patients.
